Statoil has awarded Autronica Fire and Security AS a framework agreement for the delivery of ESD, fire and gas equipment to the Johan Sverdrup field, with options to the Johan Castberg, Peregrino and Snorre fields.
The contract is for four years, with an option for 2 + 2 years.
This is an incredibly important agreement for Autronica, and is one of the largest framework agreements in the company’s history. The agreement is signed by Division Oil & Gas at Forus outside Stavanger.
Autronica Fire and Security AS is an international company with offices worldwide. In 1979 Autronica launched the first analog addressable fire alarm system, minimizing false and unwanted alarms. Since then the system has been used in more than 8000 installations and has thus proved what it stands for. Autronica, Division Oil & Gas, has already delivered several major projects recently, as Statfjord, Aasta Hansteen, Goliath, Edward Grieg and Gina Krog. In addition, they have now been awarded the framework agreement with Statoil.
The contract confirms Autronica’s strong position as a reliable partner for the major players in the oil and gas industry.
