Autronica fire detection at Stavanger Airport, Sola

March 12, 2007

Autronica has delivered an advanced fire detection system at Stavanger Airport, Sola. The system covers the terminal building, the maintenance building and the security building. The terminal building has recently been expanded and is undergoing renewal, and plans have already been made for the next expansion.

The fully integrated system consists of two AutroSafe interactive addressable fire alarm control panels, three controllers and two information panels, all operating on an AUTROLON network. In addition, there is a BS-100 analogue addressable control panel. All equipment is connected to the control and presentation system AutroMaster 5000, which is located in a central control room, plus an AutroMaster 5000 (slave) in the electro-maintenance facilities. The system controls fire doors, the luggage system and the emergency light system, plus doors between different fire sections. Separate docking signals are available in order to alert airplanes in the event of an alarm. The next expansion will cover the fire detection at the helicopter terminal adjacent to these buildings.
