Protecting patients and staff at Rikshospitalet in Oslo

Oslo University Hospital is renovating their fire detection system in Rikshospitalet this year. We are glad to be able to protect patients and staff from fire related incidents.

Oslo University Hospital is a highly specialised hospital in charge of extensive regional and local hospital assignments and the provision of high quality services for the citizens of Oslo. The hospital also has a nationwide responsibility for a number of national and multi-regional assignments and has several national centres of competence.

Their branch hospital, Rikshospitalet, is now getting a brand new fire detection system, as a part of a rehabilitation project. The patients and staff will be protected by 21 new AutroSafe fire alarm panels and approximately 8,500 AutroGuard® protectors, an AutroVoice MULTIVES voice alarm system, 22 alarm stations with fire alarm panels, fireman's microphones and graphical information screens. And the AutroMaster will control it all.

“We are happy to be the preferred protector of the patients and staff at Rikshospitalet in this upgrade.” says Geir Trønnes, Sales and Marketing Director at Autronica. “We have had a close collaboration with the technical department at the hospital for several years, and the fact that they have chosen to upgrade their safety with a new Autronica fire alarm system is a testament to the skill and service-mindedness of our people.”
