Autronica Strengthens Asian Presence with Acquisition of Engtek’s fire & gas safety business

Trondheim, Norway – December 1st, 2025 – Autronica Fire and Security has expanded its footprint in Asia through the acquisition of the Autronica distribution operations of Engtek Pte Ltd., its long-standing and well-established provider of fire and gas detection systems based in Singapore and Shanghai.

The acquisition enhances Autronica’s direct presence in Asia and supports the company’s long-term growth strategy in the global fire and gas safety industry.

Engtek has represented Autronica for several decades and has extensive experience in delivering fire and gas safety solutions to shipyards, vessel owners, and offshore operators in the maritime and oil & gas sectors in Singapore and China. The company is well recognized for its technical expertise, customer service, and deep regulatory and system integration knowledge in fire and gas detection systems.
