Statoil extends collaboration with Autronica for two more years
Feb 24, 2016
Autronica Fire and Security AS consider the two-year extension of the existing framework agreement for supply of fire and gas goods and services with Statoil as a clear recognition of their long-term collaboration. The option is valid from 7 February 2016 to 6 February 2018, and is in addition to the existing framework agreement with Johan Sverdrup.
Autronica Fire and Security AS is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).
- “We are very grateful for the confidence Statoil has shown us by awarding these options”, says Thor Egil Hafnor, Sales Director for Europe. “This will contribute to provide Autronica predictability and opportunities for the coming years in an already tough market”.
According to Hafnor, it is difficult to estimate the value of this option as it will depend on Statoil's activities and needs for the coming years.
Autronica Fire and Security and Statoil have had a framework agreement since 2011, and the company has been the main supplier to Statoil within fire and gas detection since 1984.
